Wayne Zappia

Wayne Zappia practises in most areas of commercial law. He regularly advises and appears in State and Federal superior courts at both first instance and appellate level.

Wayne has extensive experience in insolvency, bankruptcy, banking and finance, corporations law, intellectual property, construction law, equity and trusts, contract law, and personal property securities related matters.

Wayne regularly advises external administrators and other stakeholders of companies in financial distress (including directors, financiers, creditors and landlords/owners) in relation to all aspects of corporate insolvency and restructuring.

In 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, Wayne was listed by Doyle’s Guide as “pre-eminent” in the junior counsel rankings (Western Australia) for “Insolvency and Reconstruction” and “Commercial Litigation” categories.
