David Leigh

David has a broad practice with a particular focus on administrative and constitutional law, regulatory prosecutions, disciplinary proceedings, inquests and commissions of inquiry, and general commercial matters. He has extensive trial and appellate experience.
Before joining the bar, David was a Senior Assistant State Counsel at the State Solicitor’s Office and, in 2025, served as the Crown Counsel for the Northern Territory.
David holds a Master of Laws (Distinction) from University College London, and a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (English literature) from the University of Western Australia.
