Shoreline Chambers is very proud to share that three of its members, Wayne Zappia SC, Heather Millar SC and Alexander Mossop SC, were appointed Senior Counsel. Their appointment brings the number of silks at Shoreline Chambers to five.
The appointment to Senior Counsel is based on eminence in the practice of law, especially advocacy, unquestioned integrity, availability and independence, and occurs after consultation by the Chief Justice of Western Australia with members of the legal profession and the judiciary.
Wayne Zappia SC was admitted to practice in 2004 and called to the bar in 2013. He practices in corporate insolvency and bankruptcy, intellectual property, trusts, construction law and commercial litigation. Wayne has a significant involvement in training at the Bar, having supported a number of pupils at the Bar and has been a co-chair of units in the WA Bar Reader’s Course, including the Ethics and Practice Unit.
Heather Millar SC was admitted to practice in 2008 and called to the bar in 2016. She specialises in workplace law, including employment, industrial, discrimination, occupational safety, and disciplinary and regulatory matters. Heather regularly engages in legal education and advocacy training, along with a pro bono practice.
Alexander Mossop SC was admitted to practice in 2010 and called to the bar in 2016. He practices in both criminal law and commercial litigation, including in white collar and corporate crime, civil penalty proceedings, regulatory offences, employment law and general commercial matters. Alex has significant involvement in advocacy training across a number of organisations and a substantial pro bono practice.
